[e-drug] Iatrogenic HIV in Africa

E-drug: Iatrogenic HIV in Africa
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

[The below message appeared on the SIGN discussion forum. I
would expect many E-druggers to have ideas or information on this
issue. HH]

With other colleagues, we have been accumulating evidence that
unsafe health care practices (e.g., injections, blood tests, OBGYN
care) -- rather than heterosexual transmission -- may have been the
driving force for the HIV epidemic in Africa. Findings to date raise
many questions for further research and provide ideas for design of
intervention programs to improve the safety of health care,
especially in countries with generalized epidemics.

Do you have an interest or opportunity to work on these issues?

If so, please contact us.
