I take pleasure to share with you that School of Pharmaceutical Management;
The IIHMR University is organizing a 05 days International training
programme on Safeguarding Quality of Medicines in Resource Limited
settings during September 24-28, 2018 at The IIHMR University, Jaipur, India .
This is the third in the series. The first program was conducted in Sept
19-23, 2016 and the second one in Sept 18-22, 2017
· Careful selection of drugs for preparing Essential Medicines
List (EML)
· Establishing robust pharmaceutical procurement processes
(Quantification, selection of suppliers, WHO PQP)
· Safeguarding the quality of medical supplies, biologicals,
through robust supply chain management (Inventory control system, eLMIS)
· Quality assurance (QA) and Quality control (QC) of medicines
(Sampling and survey process, Combating Not of standard drugs/spurious
drugs)
· Rational use of medicines
· Ensuring quality at dispensing level
· Monitoring and evaluation of drug quality (WHO indicators,
Detecting and Reporting Adverse Drug Reactions)
· Regulating the quality of medicines through a functional
medicine regulatory agency (MRA)
· Hands on training on Noninvasive techniques and rapid
detection techniques for determining drug quality (Raman handheld
spectroscopy)
· Field visit to drug testing laboratory

Program fee
For Indian participants : Rs 37,500per participant plus 18% GST
For Foreign participants : USD 700per participant plus 18% GST
Discounts on the Fee
Early Bird Discount: Nominations received with payments on before 4-weeks
(27thAugust 2018) will be entitled to an early bird discount of 10%.
Group Discount: Any organization sponsoring four or more participants to
the program will be entitled for a discount of 20% on the total fee payable
provided that at least four participants actually attend the program.
