Greetings from IIHMR UNIVERSITY, JAIPUR, INDIA
Wish to share that IIHMR UNIVERSITY is organizing 05 days International
training programme on Safeguarding Quality of Medicines in Resource
Limited settings during SEPT 18-22, 2017 ” at The IIHMR University, Jaipur,
India .
The program is designed primarily with a focus to assist the
countries/national health system programs to address the challenges and
provide technical guidance for establishing a robust quality assurance
framework for ensuring good quality of medicines despite resource
limitations.
The program will address important issues such as
o Significance of drug management cycle in ensuring drug quality
o Judicious selection of drugs for preparing National list of Essential
Medicines (NLEM)
o Establishing operational guidelines for good pharmaceutical procurement
o Quantification of drugs
o Safeguarding the quality of medical supplies, biologicals, through
robust supply chain management
o Quality assurance (QA) and Quality control of medicines
o Appropriate use of the drugs
o Monitoring and evaluation drug quality
o Regulating the quality of medicines through a functional medicine
regulatory agency (MRA)
o Hands on training on Noninvasive techniques and rapid detection
techniques for determining drug quality (Raman handheld spectroscopy)
o Field visit to drug testing laboratory
