E-DRUG: Information required on restrictions for some drugs (3-corr)
-------------------------------------------------------------
[Your moderator was incorrect in remarking that WHO should update its
website. He looked only at the letter R for Restrictive, but under P for
Pharmaceutical the 2003 reports were listed. Apologies to the EDM IT staff
for this P-oversight!
So just browse to
http://www.who.int/medicines/library/docseng_from_a_to_z.shtml
and check under P, not R... WB]
This refers to the request for information on drugs such as Misoprostol,
tianeptine etc. Please note that WHO has brought out yet another update (in
April 2003) to the Restricted Pharmaceuticals List (Pharmaceuticals:
Restrictions in Use and Availability, April 2003). Dr Azhar Hussain may
kindly refer to this latest issue (available at the URL
http://www.who.int/medicines/library/docseng_from_a_to_z.shtml) for more
recent information on some of the mentioned drugs.
