In Malawi, we are in the process of establishing a school of Pharmacy in
January,06. Can anyone provide a list of required laboratory equipment for
this course.

Dear Sosola,

You need to have following minimum equipment:

1 Weighing Balance from 10mg-200g with standard weights
2. Weighing Balance from 200g-500g with standard weights
3. UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
4. IR Spectrophotometer
5. Polarimeter
6. Abbe's Refractometer
7. Melting point apparatus
8. Complete set of burette, pipette, beaker, round bottom flask, Bunsen
burner, Muffel furnace, Water bath, Oil bath, Vacuum oven, stands with flask
holder, calibrated measuring cylinders
8. Disintegration testing apparatus
9. Dissolution testing apparatus
10. Hardness Tester
11. Vernier Callipers
12. Microscope
