[e-drug] Looking for Drug Price Lists (2)

E-drug: Looking for Drug Price Lists (2)
---------------------------------------

Dear Mr. Alan Stevens and e-druggers,

I am Ataru IGARASHI, a PhD candidate at Department of Pharmacoeconomics,
Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Tokyo, Japan.
Together with Prof. Tsutani, Head of the Department, I participated in the
WHO-HAI Medicine Prices Workshop at Cairo, Egypt, 20-23 October 2003.

The Department is developing a website on "Global Atlas of Drug Prices"
(dprice).

This website will eventually serve as a portal site of drug prices in the
world. Towards this end, we have tred to identify all information sources
on drug prices in the world, from various websites, as well as written
documents.

The "WHO Fact Sheet on Drug Price Information Services" published in the
Essential Drug Monitor 2002, issue 31, was useful for the development of the
website.

For more information, visit http://dprice.umin.jp

Although it is still in its very initial stage of development, it contains
reimbursed prices of pharmaceuticals in Great Britain.

I hope this website is helpful to you.

Regards.

[Moderator's comment: the WHO website also has a lot of drug price
information; see:
