E-DRUG: mail order systems control

E-drug: mail order systems control
---------------------------------------------------

Dear colleagues,

We are reviewing our mail order/courier delivery system of medicines
in South Africa.
Can someone say what the situation in their country is.
Is the system legal?
What control measures are there to ensure safety and quality of
medicines posted?
Are medicines for acute and chronic conditions posted?
What about those requiring special storage conditions?
Is the system controlled by government, professional body e.g
pharmacy council or drug regulatory authority?
