E-DRUG: Electronic drug registration system for Africa

E-drug: Electronic drug registration system for Africa
---------------------------------------------

I am beta testing a new electronic drug registration system for Africa to
assist with the registration (licensing) of new and existing drug
applications. The system has been designed to help with the registration
of complementary and traditional medicines and does not only make use
of the biomedical model of health. It has many unique features and is
sensitive to the culture within which the medicine is used. It handles
medicine based on the biological model through to medicines with a
holistic view of the organism to medicines acting in space.

The intuitive nature of the software guides you through the registration
process. It still addresses the issues of quality, safety and efficacy as
its
main criteria for evaluating drugs for licensing. It creates package
inserts
that are understandable to the consumer. Some are in picture format to
assist illiterate people.

It has a module to monitor adverse drug events and control the GMP
environment.

I believe that this program will ease the workload considerably of
regulatory authorities without compromising the standards of the
medicines supplied to their respective populations.

I am looking for experienced people to review my work and assist with
future developments in their local countries.
