E-drug: Maternal mortality worldwide (cont'd)

Dear Valeria,
Closing the maternal mortality (and maternal suffering) gap will
happen when governments and donors commit themselves to long
term practical improvements in the health systems in developing
countries. I believe that maternal mortality/morbidity is a good
indicator for the functioning of health systems and for gender
equality.
