Australian National Medicines Symposium

The National Prescribing Service (NPS) and PHARM Committee
(Pharmaceutical Health And Rational Use of Medicines) are jointly
coordinating the:
National Medicines Symposium - Change in Progress: Progress in
Change.
This conference will be held in Melbourne at the Carlton Crest Hotel
between 10 - 12 August 2000.
Guest speakers and facilitators will include international and national
experts such as Dr Flora Haaija from the Netherlands, Mr Charles
Medawar from the United Kingdom, Ms Barbara Mintzes from Canada,
Prof. Emeritus Laurence Malcolm from New Zealand, Prof. Ric Day,
A/Prof. Andrea Mant, Dr Stephen Phillips and many others. These
special guests will present on various current and future issues such
as direct-to-consumer advertising, best practice in medication review
and computerised prescribing, clinical and DUE audits, consumer
issues and the hospital community interface.
