Briefing for Delegates to the 62nd World Health Assembly

The Ministry of Health of Jordan invites delegates to the 62nd WHA to
hear how two programmes aimed at improving access to essential medicines
are making a difference.

Both the Medicines Transparency Alliance (MeTA) and the Good Governance
for Medicines (GGM) programmes are working in Jordan, helping to improve
transparency and accountability in the medicines sector.

The presentations will include briefings on the global MeTA and GGM
programmes, lessons learned from pilot countries and how both programmes
are working in Jordan, followed by a panel discussion, involving
government, business and civil society representatives as well as WHO
and MeTA officials.
