E-drug: Metronidazole tabs rectally administered? (cont'd)

On the rectal use of metronidazole, Alan McLean and colleagues in
Melbourne at the Austin Hospital published on the use of rectal
metronidazole (formulated in their hospital pharmacy) showing good
bioavailability and the cost was substantially lower. Was in the Medical
Journal of Australia probably in 80's or early 90's.
