E-drug: Single tablet for oral, vaginal and rectal use (cont'd)

I would be surprised if there is such a formulation anywhere that is
licenced. Such a formulation would have more character of
marketing gimmick than therapeutical advantages.
Another question is whether some substances (oral preparations)
have such properties that they can be administered the other two
routes.
Such substances would have to have both systemic and local
effects. And the therapeutical approach should be rational and not
obsolete. Hormones, antibiotics, prostaglandine analogues and
NSAIDs migth be possible. Metronidazole is the closest cadidate I
can think of.
