E-DRUG: MSF AccessNews: Never A Greater Need ..to get involved
--------------------------------------------------

In this season of new directions, new resolutions and new leadership,
Medecins Sans Frontieres' Access Campaign launches its latest newsletter
focusing on the fight, past and present, to increase access to medicines
for patients in the developing world.

Through a range of voices, we set out the story of MSF's own Access to
Essential Medicines Campaign and why we got started, some of the issues we
are tackling now and the road ahead as new challenges emerge in access to
affordable medicines both for our own patients and others in poorer
countries.

We also hear from seasoned campaigners on what needs to be done to jolt the
world of TB activism into life, how students are shaking things up in
academia to make the fruits of scientific research available to the
developing world and how a group of scientists have moved online in an
effort to engineer a breakthrough in treatment for tuberculosis and other
neglected diseases.

So click on the link below to get hold of this latest edition and sign up
for future ones.

Altogether, you'll find plenty of reasons, if not to be cheerful then
certainly to get focused and involved over the next year.
