E-drug: Needs of district hospitals (cont'd)

A very useful book on specifying (emergency) medical supplies and
equipment is 'Emergency Relief Items', compendium of basic
specifications by UNDP/IAPSO (1999, maybe later editions available).
Furthermore the Procurement Unit in Ghana has done some work on
listing and specifying medical disposables (mohup@ncs.com). In
Suriname we have an essential list of Medical Disposables
(unspecified, Dutch), both on national level.
