E-DRUG: New book: Therapeutic Guidelines: Rheumatology

Therapeutic Guidelines has just released a new title: Therapeutic
Guidelines: Rheumatology. Version 1, 2006 covering the management of a
wide range of musculo-skeletal conditions.
This title addresses several issues of current global interest. The
section 'Getting to know Your Drugs' explains the role of appropriate
drugs for the management of painful musculo-skeletal conditions in an
era where it has been hard to find safe new drugs for pain management.
This edition also features non-drug interventions and very clear
diagrams and instructions for exercises which have been found to be most
beneficial in the management of pain.
As with all the titles produced by Therapeutic Guidelines,
'Rheumatology' includes sections on children and adolescents and
management of conditions during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
'Therapeutic Guidelines Ltd' is an Australian not for profit
organisation that has become well known internationally, particularly
for the production of Antibiotic and Analgesic guidelines as well as a
range of other titles. These guidelines are independent, peer reviewed
and regularly updated.
It is not possible to provide free copies because sales of products
sustain the continuation of the organisation and development of more
guidelines. There is no sponsorship!
