E-drug: Next meeting: WHO Expert Committee, Selection and Use of Essential Medicines

Dear Colleagues,
The next meeting of the WHO Expert Committee on the Selection and Use of
Essential Medicines will take place in Ghana 21 to 25 March 2011. All
the applications and agenda items that will be reviewed at the meeting
can be accessed at:

On Monday 21 March, between 9:30 am and 12:30 am, an open session will
be held. If you would like to participate in the open session and
provide comment, either in person or via a written statement, you need
to register prior to the meeting. If you wish to attend in person you
need to provide a short written copy of your comments on a particular
application or agenda item, by 10 March 2011, to:
emlsecretariat@who.int.
If you are unable to attend the open session in person, you can still
participate by providing a written statement (1-page summary of issues
to be taken into consideration by the Expert Committee with regards to a
particular application or agenda item). This summary document will be
read out on your behalf by the Secretary of the Expert Committee at the
meeting.
To register for the open session please contact Mrs Madelyn Clemente
(clementem@who.int) before 10 March 2011. Please note that any expenses
incurred as a result of participation in the open session are entirely
the responsibility of the attendee.
