E-DRUG: Non-drowsy sea-sickness treatment (4)
---------------------------------------------

dear E-druggers,

In response to the question by Trouilloud, the antimuscarinic
anticholinergic drugs are best for seasickness prevention. Scopolamine is
the best but not on the model list because the seasickness indication for a
drug was never considered essential. Atropine is on the model list if you
want to limit your use to these drugs only. A very small dose given
frequently can prevent seasickness while limiting the anticholinergic side
effects.
