E-drug: OTC drugs (Economic costs)

Dear Colleagues,

Does anyone out there can point me to publications or sources
analyzing and reviewing the epidemiology and economic costs of
drug related problems due to the intake of OTC drugs (adverse
drug reactions, drug-drug interactions, drug related morbidity
and / or hospital admissions).

Moreover, I am looking for papers investigating the role of the
pharmacist in selfmedication and drug counseling for OTC drugs. I
am especially interested in papers analyzing the extent of
counseling and demonstrating the value of the pharmacist in the
selfmedication process.
