E-DRUG: Patent rights, Ciprofloxacin, generics etc.

Dear E-druggers,

Some Eastern European drug firms are making ciprofloxacin for local
use (and export to Russia) - notably LEK, POLFA en KRKA. KRKA now
closely cooperates with Bayer, so it is no use asking them. But it
might be worthwhile to ask price quotations from some others as long
as one does not enter the EU or USA with it. At least these
Slovenians and Poles have good quality control.
