Monash Pharmacy Education Symposium: Assessment
11-13 July 2005, Monash University Prato Centre, Tuscany, Italy
Conducted jointly by Victorian College of Pharmacy (Monash University) and
Kings College London School of Pharmacy.
A meeting for pharmacists and pharmacy academics with an interest in the
challenges associated with student assessment. Sessions will address aspects
of student assessment in the traditional teaching environment, the virtual
(online) environment and in pharmacy practice settings.
This is the 3rd Monash Pharmacy Education Symposium. The Symposia provide a
collegial forum for the consideration and sharing of issues related to
education in pharmacy. Previous symposia attracted registrants from a wide
range of countries including Australia, UK, USA, Malaysia, South Africa,
Singapore and more. These symposia explored experiential 'Teaching and
learning in pharmacy' and 'Innovations in teaching and learning'. The
presentations and outcomes from these past meetings are available from the
symposium web site.
The Monash Prato Centre is an elegant 18th century palace in the historic
centre of the ancient Tuscan city of Prato (15 minutes by train from
Florence).
