E-DRUG: Places available at The Union's supply chain management course

There are places available in the upcoming The Union's International
Management Development Programme (IMDP) training on
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (30 CME/CEU credits)
10 - 14 NOVEMBER, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA
The objective of this five-day course is to provide participants with the
practical knowledge and skills to effectively manage the antituberculosis
medicines and laboratory commodities needed in today's TB programmes.
There is increasing collaboration and coordination with TB programmes and
many of the topics covered in this course can also be applied to the
management of antiretroviral drugs and HIV diagnostics.
The techniques presented in lectures will be applied during realistic case
exercises and simulations related to pharmaceutical supply management (PSM).

This course is designed for middle- to senior- level procurement
specialists, doctors, pharmacists, warehouse managers and consultants manag-
ing drugs and/or laboratory supplies. Participants involved in HIV and AIDS
programmes or the forecasting, procurement, storage and distribution of
TB-related commodities will all benefit from this training.
The IMDP Accreditation
IMDP participants are eligible to earn continuing medical education (CMEs)
and/or continuing education units (CEUs). The IMDP core courses are
accredited both by the International Association for Continuing Education
and Training (IACET) and the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology
(EBAP). The IMDP Tobacco Control courses are accredited by the
International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
Union Membership
Course participants are offered complimentary, annual Union memberships.
With a Union membership, participants will receive either the online edition
of the monthly publication of International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung
Disease, as well as gain free access to technical guides and other
