You can find the same system as in Cameroon (i.e. an NGO) in Benin
(Centrale d'Achats de Medicaments Essentiels- CAME) and in Burkina Faso
(Centrale d'Achats de Medicaments Essentiels Generiques- CAMEG) . The
same in Burundi, Mauritania, Togo and Rwanda
They are ruled as private organisations, but are closely monitored by
the government.
