Hello Dear Colleagues
Mauritius is introducing the Value Added Tax in next September.Basic food
and Drugs are spared.However pharmaceuticals which are not registered as
Drugs by the Ministry of Health will be taxed at 10%, E.g. food
supplements, cotton wool,antiseptics, bandages,certain vitamin
preparations,test strips,and condoms.
