E-drug: Value Added Tax for Drugs
--------------------------------------------------
[copied from AFRO-NETS]
Dear Colleagues,
Ghana is introducing the Value Added Tax (VAT) at a rate of 10%. Under
this new tax regime, the Minster of Health has been requested to pro-
duce a list of Drugs for the consideration of parliament for exemption
from the VAT. We will be grateful to receive some advise based upon
your experience of the VAT and Drugs/Medical Consumables and supplies.
