E-DRUG: Request participation in survey on pharmacy support workforce for FIP

Dear e-druggers,
With a growing recognition and demand for pharmacists and pharmacy services
in the health care system, there is a growing need to define the roles for
pharmacy support workforce and to identify the competencies, education and
practice models for the best contribution possible within the pharmacy team.
The International Pharmacy Federation (FIP) Board of Pharmaceutical Practice set up the
'FIP BPP working group on pharmacy support workforce'
with the objectives to provide an overview of the different roles and responsibilities
of the pharmacy support workforce, as well as their education and legal framework;
to provide a definition of the different types of pharmacy support workforce; and to
identify practice models that will allow them to make the best contribution
possible within the pharmacy team, thus assisting in ensuring responsible
medicine use.
We would like to ask you for your kind participation in the survey created
by the working group, to help us to better understand the situation
internationally.
