E-drug: RFI: Antimicrobial consumption measures

I am working on a project that is looking into the problem of anti-
microbial resistance in Tanzania. Among other things, I want to look
at antimicrobial consumption at the referral hospital and relate that
to the resistance pattern. I am aware of the Defined Daily Dos-
age(DDD)as one way of looking at this. Are there other ways that
could be used to quantify or measure antimicrobial consumption?
