E-DRUG: RFI: illicit sale of psychotropic and other controlled medicines

Dear E-druggers
Your moderator needs some support! I am researching ways to control the illicit sale of controlled substances (e.g. psychotropics, benzodiazepines, sleeping tablets) in street markets in developing countries.
Any one who can suggest:
- a good epidemiological description of this problem?
- estimates as to the volume/value of this "market"
- "best practice" experiences (positive/negative) how these illicit street sales were minimized or controlled?
