E-DRUG: RFI: Medical Supplies Volumes?

Dear e-druggers,

I've used the excellent WHO publication "How to estimate warehouse space for
drugs" (WHO/DAP/93.3) for a number of years now, but have never found an
equivalent for medical supplies. Does anyone know if such a document exists?

I'm particularly interested in information on average cubic space per unit
for each product, based on data from several leading suppliers.

If nothing exists perhaps a few of us could put together our data and
produce a simple database. It would be a useful addition to the wealth of
data we have for pharmaceuticals.
