E-DRUG: Rights Based Supply Chain Training PSA, English & French, Nairobi 9-13 July 2018
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear E-Drug members,
This is an advance notice of Pamela Steele Associates next Supply Chain Training in Nairobi Kenya. The training is scheduled from 9th - 13th July, 2018. Early Bird registrations are now open.
PSA's supply chain training based on the 6 + 1 rights of a health supply chain: the right goods, the right quantity, the right cost, the right condition, the right place, the right time, and the right interventions. The training is preceded by a Supply Chain Competency Assessment (Skills Profile), which helps the candidates and the faculty understand the overall training need of the candidate, and based on the results of the group, the faculty members focus on those areas of supply chain which are determined weaker in the group.
PSA's training focuses on the higher-order skills required by supply chain managers to understand the end-to-end requirements for a sustainable health supply chain, rather than a narrow focus on individual activities. It is, therefore, important for everyone involved in supply chain management to have a demonstrable competence in each function.
The objective of this training is to increase participants' understanding of procurement and logistics management of health supply chains and associated planning requirements, enabling them to make improvements in their own geographical and organisational contexts. The training is targeted at people who are responsible for planning, procuring, distributing or monitoring health programme supplies, whether working for National Government, Donor Agencies, International or local NGOs or humanitarian agencies.
The training will be conducted in both English and French Language and is a good opportunity for professionals from both contexts to work together in an extremely collaborative and learning environment.
The Early Bird Residential fee is USD 2,835 which covers both Tuition and Accommodation. Please visit http://www.pamsteele.co.uk/courses/health-supply-chain-management-9th-13th-july2018-nairobi/ for more information.
