E-drug: Role and function of E-drug (cont'd)

Dear friends,
I am one of those who reads most of what comes to my desk from
E-drug, but am not an active participant. I am not a health
professional, but a health and drug policy researcher. I am a
co-founder and board member of PharmaWatch, a Canadian group
that supports direct-from-consumer reporting of adverse drug
events, post-market surveillance and follow-up, education, etc.
From this perspective I find the "politics" and the information on
E-drug to be really useful. But I also find the contributions from
people around the world, including Africa which is not often enough
in the headlines, provides the essential detail and substance to the
news reports and analyses.
I hope E-drug will continue with its current style and content. My
thanks to the moderators for facilitating this discussion and for all
the work they do to support E-drug.
