Southern Med Review
An international journal to promote and publish commentary and research on the rational use of and access to medicines.
(ISSN: 1174-2704)
Editor: Zaheer Babar, PhD
Associate Editor: Shane Scahill
Context: In developing countries where health systems and health policy are constantly evolving, there is a great need to publish informative research. However, there are few avenues to do so due to, among others, inexperienced or untrained researchers, topics that are out of the scope of current, mainstream journals, limited funding, etc.
Aims and Objectives: Southern Med Review provides a platform for researchers to disseminate commentary and empirical research findings, with a view to improving the rational use of and access to essential medicines.
The Southern Med Review is published quarterly every year in Auckland, New Zealand.
Why publish in Southern Med Review?
The journal provides an alternative for emerging researchers to publish their material in a supportive environment. There is also the opportunity for established research leaders to share their learning with the rest of the world.
If you have interesting work to share, please contact the editor: editor_smr@yahoo.com
