[e-drug] Standard Treatment Guidelines (11)

E-DRUG: Standard Treatment Guidelines (11)
-----------------------------------------

The need to have standard treatment guideline for the various disease
conditions is inevitable, in view of the limited resources available
   for health care financing.

This will reduce cases of drug expiration in the various healthcare
programs and institution, it will also facilitate optimum drug
utilisation and even reduce the proliferation of unregistered/fake
medicines, as application for registration of drugs not list in the
standard treatment guideline has to be strongly justified.

The advantages of have standard treatment guideline for most of the
endemic disease conditions outweighs the disadvantages if any. For
most developing countries, having this important guidelines in place
is a change process that all healthcare professionals should embrace
   without bias.

E-DRUG: Standard Treatment Guidelines (12)
-----------------------------------------

The problem is not really the absence of standard
treatment guidelines, but CORRUPTION. Many think
corruption is only in the presidency - NO. Corruption
is everywhere. Professionals should re orientate
themselves and live by their oath. Am convinced all
professionals know the right thing to do, but greed
stands between them and ethics.
How do you explain the proliferated private clinics
were tests and treatment are carried out without due
professional judgement. MONEY is often the driving
force.
Its time especially in developing countries to CHANGE
for the good of the patient.
