E-drug: Training Pharmacist's Assistants/Technicians (cont)

I would also be interested in such information as just yesterday, my
"Pharmacy assistants" were asking if I could hold class room training
sessions for them to bring them to certain competency levels. Just to
clarify, these people are employed in my institution to carry out such
duties as issuing bulk stock drugs from store to pharmacy and wards, mixing
syrups prior to dispensing, prepacking, stock taking, distributing
non-medicines like needles, syringes, diluting disinfectants and antiseptics
etc.They have basic clerical training post secondary school or none at all.
I would also like to know what levels of competencies pharmacy assistants
have in other countries and what their duties are
