E-drug: Training Pharmacist's Assistants/Technicians
---------------------------------------------
Dear e-druggers,
Does anybody have any experience on the training of Pharmacy
Assistants whilst they are already in employment? How do you impart
the knowledge & skills to them without disrupting the pharmaceutical
service that they provide? In South Africa the pharmaceutical
services in most rural health facilities are manned solely by this
cadre & getting them out for any training is problematic. Are there
any lessons to be learnt from anybody anywhere?
