E-drug: Treatment of Malaria (cont)

The treatment depends on where you are, local patterns of resistance.
I would be thinking that it's Thailand, where Fansidar and mefloquine
resistance is reported. The Thai/Cambodia and Thai/Myanmar border
areas are particularly bad for this. Multi-resistance
means they now use artemisinin derivatives. These would probably be
effective for treatment in this case.
