E-DRUG: USP Guide to Evaluating Medicine Education Programs and Materials

E-drug: USP Guide to Evaluating Medicine Education Programs and Materials
----------------------------------------------------------

USP Guide to Evaluating Medicine Education Programs and Materials for
Consumers available for public comment.

Most people agree there is a need for appropriate medicine education
programs and materials for consumers. However, there is little guidance for
those who wish to use/adapt existing materials for their populations or to
develop new ones. Recognizing these needs, the USP International Health
Advisory Panel produced a draft "Guide to Evaluating Medicine Education
Programs and Materials for Consumers." This Guide has also been reviewed by
the following USP advisory panels: Nursing Practice, Pharmacy Practice, and
Consumer Information/Health Education. It is now available for public
comment. You are encouraged to review the Guide, apply it to consumer
medicine education materials, and provide USP with feedback.
