[e-drug] Webinar about Selecting Essential Medicines for WHO Model List

E-DRUG: Webinar about Selecting Essential Medicines for WHO Model List
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi E-Druggers,

As a follow up to my previous message about two articles about Selection of Essential Medicines, the Centre for Bioethics at Harvard Medical School will be convening a webinar titled:

What is Essential? Selecting the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines

This month's Health Policy & Bioethics Consortium will discuss the World Health Organization's Model List of Essential Medicines, challenges facing the selection of medicines, and how to promote fair access to important drugs.

I believe that Wilbert Bannenberg, the founder of E-Drug and Nicola Magrini a past secretary of the WHO Expert Committee will be on the panel to discuss the topic.

The webinar will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM EST [Eastern Standard Time (EST) is 5 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).]

To attend you need to register at: https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?oeidk=a07eji408ob6c907831&oseq=&c=&ch=

It should be an interesting discussion. I hope some E-Druggers will be able to Zoom in to watch the webinar.
