E-drug: WHO's role in trade agreements-preferential prices (cont'd)

My understanding is that the industry usually ties preferential pricing
with a demand for an end to parallel importing. Since sales are so low
in these countries anyways they are willing to lose a little money with
the hope of not losing a lot which could happen if the developing
countries started engaging in parallel importing.
