Course on Pharmaceutical Management in Hospitals to be held at IIHMR
University, Jaipur, India, from January 30 to February 3, 2017.

IIHMR, Jaipur is an institution dedicated to improvement in standards of
health through better management of health care and related programs. It
seeks to accomplish this through management education, training, research,
consultation and institutional networking in a national and global
perspective. The institute has been designated as WHO collaborating Center
for District Health Systems based on Primary Health Care. The Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare, Government of India has identified the institute
as an Institute of Excellence for training and capacity building. For more

This institute has been contributing towards this very topical issue of
international importance through its flagship WHO sponsored International
Courses in Promoting Rational Drug Use in Communities (PRDUC). Since 2003,
13 PRDUC programs, 3 international courses on Anti-retroviral and Related
Drug Supply Chain Management in Low Resource Settings, 3 international
training courses in Pharmaceutical Management in Hospitals, 3 programs on
?Rational Use of Medicines with focus on HIV, TB & Malaria? and one program
on ?International Procurement of Medicines & Health Supplies? have already
been organized by the IIHMR. In view of the current global focus on
Rational Use of Medicines in hospitals through Pharmaceutical / Drugs &
Therapeutics Committees (PTC/DTC), a one week Course on Pharmaceutical
Management in Hospitals will be held at IIHMR University, Jaipur, India,
from January 30 to February 3, 2017.
