HIV testing without treatment? (14)
-----------------------------------
I have one question that comes to mind immediately. If your results
are, say, 20% of the students are HIV positive, and this information
given to the community and presumably the students, what type of psy-
chological situation will this set up? Everyone will wonder if *they*
are positive, or maybe their closest friend, or boyfriend. Will some
of the more physically and less emotionally mature students decide
that a certain person is positive because of the way s/he looks, and
possibly physically harm that person? It sounds to me like a receipt
for emotional disaster.
