SPRING has published the following leaflets and posters.

SPRING, in coordination with the Republican Health Promotion Center under the Kyrgyz Republic's Ministry of Healthcare, has produced this double-sided leaflet in Kyrgyz for households. The leaflet illustrates the five critical times of handwashing – before cooking, before feeding a baby, after visiting bathroom, after contact with domestic animal, and after changing a baby's diaper. It also demonstrates toilet maintenance best practices, including location in relation to a water resource, the right utilization of children’s feces, and keeping the toilet clean. Household Tool: Dietary Diversity Handout <https://www.spring-nutrition.org/publications/tools/dietary-diversity-handout&gt; (Kyrgyz)
SPRING has designed a leaflet on positive nutrition, which provides information in Kyrgyz for households on the food pyramid and explains portion size using tea cups, a widely-used basis for comparison in rural and remote areas of Kyrgyz Republic. Job Aids: Nutrition and Care of Infants and Young Children Health Facility Tools <https://www.spring-nutrition.org/publications/tools/nutrition-and-care-infants-and-young-children-facility-tools&gt; (Kyrgyz, Russian)

SPRING has developed a series of four posters for use in health facilities. Produced in Kyrgyz and Russian, the posters are dedicated to nutrition and care of infants and young children and cover topics including exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months; introduction and appropriate complementary feeding starting at six months; early child development practices; and when to seek emergency care for a sick child. The posters also highlight the importance of handwashing at critical times.
