Immunisation for All? (2)

No one is against increased immunisation coverage."
True, we want to provide immunization for all, but looking at over-
population issues, should we not provide birth control education as
well? The parents of these newly immunized children will continue
having children at the same rate they did when only 1 child in 5 sur-
vived. Looking back to the 80s and the immunization efforts of Thomas
Sankara in Burkina Faso, many children survived, which is wonderful,
except families were still having 20 kids and all were surviving in-
stead of 4 or 5. They cannot hope to feed or care for all those chil-
dren. In a place like India, this could have overwhelming impacts to
world population.
Is this also being considered by GAVI?
