Limited Access Server (3)
-------------------------
British Medical Journal (BMJ) has a wonderful service, giving com-
pletely unrestricted access to the online version of the journal. It
would be interesting to talk with them about how they can do this with-
out worries about loss of subscription revenue. Presumably they've cal-
culated that the advertising/sponsorship revenue they get for their
internet version offsets any possible loss of subscription revenue.
Perhaps BMJ's experience can be used to argue with other major journals
to provide freer access to their online versions. Surely there would be
minimal loss of revenue opening up free access outside the rich world.
