Effectiveness of HIV/AIDS Prevention Interventions among Truck
Drivers and their Partners

Dear Afro-Netters,

I am trying to bring together a documentation of experiences of other
countries which have implemented HIV prevention programmes targeted at
truck drivers and their sexual partners.

The documentation of the experiences is expected to provide insights
into programme and technical strategies adopted, and the impact
achieved; the evidences of cost and benefits both in qualitative and
quantitative terms and to provide an outline of successful strategies
adopted identifying reasons for success.

Specifically I am interested in:

All such programmes or projects that exist or existed. An address or
contact person with Tel. No. or other means of communication.

Further I would be interested in:
- the programme design
- the programme period
- the scope and coverage of the programme
- the programme and technical strategies adopted
- the period of implementation of the programme.

Who could help? Any advice would be appreciated.

The findings are maybe interesting for others, I will post them back to
the list.

With kind regards,

Ulrich
