Hi members we are about to start a programme to medically circumcise men in our region as a measure to prevent HIV transmission we are currently designing a questionnaire to use while we implement this programme. We would like to standardize this questionnaire so that we collect some acceptable data. If there is somebody out there doing a similar project or has some idea we would be very grateful to receive some samples

Hi
This is interesting and congratulations upon this Geoffrey when do you plan to administer this questionnaire, when you are providing a service or is it going to precede the circumcision. Is this meant to assess acceptability what information are u interested and what is the purpose. This might help u in the search.

Congratulations! on a good start with male circumcision (MC) for HIV prevention. A group well experienced in this area, working with African partners and also in Uganda is "Operation Abraham Collaborative" which involves 8 medical institutions and has surgeons who each conducted thousands of MC on adults. The group has also conducted the first pilot of training African health care professionals and surgeons in swift and safe MC in Swaziland. They have standardized materials and research tools and are sharing information through the organization's web site: http://www.operation-ab.org .
