Hi Leela:
I am most impressed with your work in establishing communication
through a Regional Information Technology Training Centre in Nairobi.
So, I'm thinking that if a community finds a way to set up a kiosk
which consists of at least a computer, backup power supply, someone to
tend to it, and Internet access, then could they work with you folks to
organise a gateway for health-related information? We might think of
this project at this level as an "Adopt a Kiosk" type thing, where
ISP's might want to contribute one account to one community in one de-
veloping country. If the return on this heroic act is great enough,
they might cough up a couple more accounts in anticipation of securing
future business down the road, or something along those lines.
Well, know that I would be most interested in seeing exactly how the
web page to e-mail thing works, when you're ready.
