AFRO-NETS> Traditional Healers (5)

Traditional Healers (5)
-----------------------

I am not a physician, though I work with them through my associate's
company Medical Computer Systems for many years (http://mcsp.com) and I
have worked with many "traditional healers" over the years.

What I like about what Ian has written is that he was balanced in what
he said about both "approaches". My doctor is a Yale Grad that is ho-
listic. He uses all of the "alternative" treatments. But there have
been many times that he prescribe "western" medicine approaches.

Again what I like about what Ian said was that there are major concerns
on both sides. perhaps even more so on the "western" side (I guess that
may not apply as much in 'developing' countries....I hate that term!).
I don't think we would be at a lost for bad western practices. In my
opinion both 'systems' should be merged somehow.

Ian I truly appreciate your striving for a fair position in your last
response. I think that is most important for clarity in discussion such
as this.
