Traditional healers

I wanted to make some comments on the discussion regarding traditional
healing, and I may still do so next week, but do not have time right
now.
However I thought something I wrote last year probably encapsulates
most of what I might say on the subject, so for now I will just offer
that as my contribution:
TRADITIONAL HEALER
My mind
believes in
your right
to treat
(my?) patients
with rights
to be treated
by you
co-operation
in theory
my maxim
I've even sent
some of (my?) patients
to you
for help
I could not give
within the constraints
of this theory
yet
my heart
revolts
to see
once more
the acidotic gasps
of a child's kidney
shut down
by your herbal
poison? treatment?
I cry
against you
and plot your downfall
while a voice whispers
Have you seen
my
medical disasters?
