[afro-nets] URGENT: Art by Women Needed for AIDS 2010 - please respond by March 12th!

Dear Friends,

Please read more about a wonderful opportunity for women to present their artwork at AIDS 2010 (Vienna, July). There are also cultural activities planned starting in May, where arts might be accepted for inclusion.

If anyone would like to submit work for either one or both opportunities, please contact me ASAP. The deadline to respond is FRIDAY MARCH 12th. Please send me jpegs of your work, and some contact and CV details if possible, so I can pass these along to the committee planning these events.

There may be some ability to defray expenses of getting the work to Vienna, however, there is no funding for personal travel (ie for individuals).

There is an organisation in Cape Town called Light from Africa that makes the most beautiful and creative ceramic artworks, with many women artists; it functions as an NGO supporting the fight against HIV/AIDS.
